Children Ages 5 – 11
The Arts for Social Change Program provides children with a safe and nurturing environment to explore art as a tool of academic learning, personal healing, and empowerment. Arts for Social Change provides many avenues to engage children including after school enrichment classes at local public schools, school vacation camps, weekend series, and more.
Arts for Social Change travels to local public schools to offer monthly art classes that bring together cross-cultural topics and social change, while exploring various mediums of dance, music, fashion, visual arts, pottery, and wood-carving. If you are interested in having ASC come to your child’s elementary school as an after-school enrichment activity please contact Virginia Dearani, Director of One Tree at vdearani@onetreecenter.org
Attached is our registration form with costs, hours, and dates of upcoming classes etc. Classes will always be held for three Thursdays of each month beginning in October.
